Was really fun. Affordable prices. Definitely recommend it!!
SUMMARY:
Don't allow so many parties at the same time, don't allow the entire snack area to be reserved, allow drinks where the lockers are, and again, don't allow so many people in at the same time.
They have the rink open in two sections. They open the rink in the afternoon and close it at 3pm. Then they reopen it again at 3:30pm. If you enter at 2:30pm, you still pay full price but then get kicked out after a half hour. And when you enter, they DON'T TELL YOU THAT.
-limiting the amount of people allowed in at any given time. Each time I went, there were at least 2 birthday parties going on at the same time. Today the parking lot was so full, someone had to park illegally in front of the dumpster to join the party.
It is a roller skating rink. I can't argue with that.
Great place if you're 5 years old, you can't skate, you don't mind tripping and getting in the way of people that can skate, and you like having birthday parties in a smelly skating rink even though you can't skate.
This can be easily fixed by:
This place is a great time one of the few roller skating rinks still around.
Very amusing place!! Great location, nice staff, specially the lady by the entrance. Very neat and shiny rink, cool music and I love the disco lights. You can choose between quads or in line skates. If you have your owns you can bring them in.
I gave this place as many chances as I wanted to give it. I can't enjoy myself here because instead of skating, I'm forced to be practically WALKING around large groups of tiny kids that barely move that don't belong on a roller skating rink.
CON #2:
Either don't close it for that half hour, or let me know when I'm paying to enter what the rules are. If I knew I'd be kicked out after a half hour, I woudln't have paid to get in!
PROS:
Also worth mentioning, they also stop everyone from skating so they can go over the rules during each skating session. They also randomly kick all the boys off the rink so girls can skate alone, and then kick the girls off so the boys can skate alone. This is especially is annoying because your time is limited due to CON #3.
The snack area is a small fraction of the seating / bench area, and they don't allow drinks beyond the small area. But the snack area is where the birthday parties always have all the tables reserved. So the problem is - If you're skating and you buy a bottle of water because you're thirsty, you'll most likely have to stand where you are, with no place to sit, and chug the water down before you can skate again. You can't even save the bottled water for later, because they put the lockers in the area where drinks aren't allowed! Why on earth would they do that??
Good exercise & fun music. Be careful when too crowded of young ones that your not tripping over them. Great birthday party place.

CON #1:
CON #3:
SOLUTION:
TOO CROWDED - TOO FULL OF SLOW KIDS TRIPPING IN FRONT OF ME THAT BARELY MOVE.
SOLUTION:
Too many little kids that can't skate are in the way! I went here four times this year (only because it's the only place anywhere around), and each time it was waaaaaay too full of little kids that can't skate. My fun was ruined each and every time because for the entire time, I'm slowing down, and dodging little kids that are tripping in front of me. I'm unable to skate more than few seconds without some kid cutting in my way, standing in the way, or being stuck behind a group of kids holding hands, taking up the entire width, barely moving. THIS IS THE EQUIVALENT TO RENTING A GO KART AND BEING STUCK IN TRAFFIC. I can't emphasize this enough. I constantly was an inch away from kids crashing into me. I had to constantly have my eyes open all around me and go out of my way to doge kids that can't skate. If you want to actually skate without constantly being on the look out for tiny kids cutting in you way, falling down a foot in front of you, bumping into you, don't go here.
Have been here for lots of kids parties, most of which I was invited to...it's always a good time. The rink is super smooth, the music is good for the kids and there is a choice of blades or skates.
-Have different times for different skill levels. It would be SO helpful if this place had a certain time designated for amateurs that need their hand held, that just want to casually tip toe around, and then have another time designated only for people that would like to actually skate without having to stop every 3 seconds.
Bad place if you actually want to skate more than 1mph without constantly stopping because a row of kids are right in front of you that are barely moving.
